Zach had an extra presence at Comic-Con this year because as well as the Heroes panel he was attending to promote two new titles with Archaia comics through his production company Before The Door.
The Heroes booth only featured screens with the new trailer, and a Nissan Cube which could be won - a lot less going on than last year. However, we didn't need to worry as across from the convention center NBC had set up a whole carnival! Keeping with the theme of the new carnival full of people with abilities which will feature strongly in season 4, there was free popcorn, cotton candy and slush drinks, as well as carnival games and free temporary tattoos. After having Nathan inked onto my arm I hung out with some of the Sarmy and we assaulted the games, where even losing got you a nifty Heroes keyring.

I reached the queue for the Heroes panel at about 9 in the morning and the room didn't even open until 11 so I was able to get into the first row of non-reserved seats. There was a Marvel video games panel with Stan Lee, a panel for the sci-fi show Sanctuary and one for the new Fo show Glee which is about a show choir at a high school before the Heroes were due to take the stage.
On the panel were Jack Coleman, Tim Kring, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar, Milo Ventimiglia and of course Zach. They were joined by new recruits Robert Knepper, Madeline Zima, Ray Park and Dawn Olivieri. We got to see an extended sizzle reel (longer than a trailer and with the high points of the first episode), including the new characters and some great scenes of Zach torturing Parkman (figuratively speaking). See the trailer here.
Zach seemed a little distracted during the panel, he was folding his name card into a paper plane for the most part! He answered questions about the nature of the soul and what Sylar would be up to in the rest of the season. I will have videos of the panel as soon as I can.
After the Heroes panel I dashed off to get the rooms over in the convention center proper (the Heroes panel was in the ballroom of the Bayside Hilton) to see the Archaia comics panel on which Zach was also appearing. It seemed that the majority of the people in the room were there to see Zach and the cheering and whooping was immense when he finally arrived with his partners Cory and Neal from BTD and True Blood's Michael McMillian.
The two titles that Zach and BTD will be involved in are Lucid,McMillian's story of a mage who assists the President of the United States, and Mr Murder, a noir comic about a man trying to find a woman who's father wants her dead. When it came time for questions there were predictably a couple of people who just wanted to squee at Zach and get something signed, and whilst he did let one person come up for an autograph he reminded the people waiting in line that they should be asking about the comic titles and not just him. There are videos from the panel in the video gallery.
After the panel I rushed to the front to meet my friends Mabes, Kat and Natalie from the Sarmy and we were propelled along with Neal to meet Zach. There were a few people following to see if they could catch a glimpse of Zach too, which made thingsa little more difficult but after a couple of false starts Neal came out to get us and we were ushered into the VIP waiting room. Zach was so friendly and sweet, chatted to us for a while and signed a shirt to be auctioned for the Epilepsy Foundation. We went outside for a picture which came out a little blurry (Neal obviously has a less technical camera than Mabes!) but with a little computer magic was restored somewhat.

As we went to leave Mabes realised she'd left her bag back in the VIP room and Zach joked "It's mine NOW!" We thanked Neal and I managed to leave Zach with one of the site's business cards, though what he would do with a card with his face and initials on I have no idea XD.

There is so much information coming through about Zach from the Star Trek that it's almost a full time job trying to update it at the moment. If you want the latest you really have to be coming back to the site twice or even three times a day because I'm adding new pictures, interviews and videos constantly.
Zach's official website has been launched and it's gorgeous, Sean has done a fantastic job of making a very accessible and great looking site, it's at www.zacharyquinto.com as if you didn't know
The site links back to us and they left a very nice comment in our guestbook; "Just wanted to say THANK YOU for all of your support and for running a
fantastic UK Zachary Quinto site. It's great and respectful and
thorough. So thanks!"
I'll be at the London premiere of Star Trek and I would love to hear from any of you who are planning on visiting the Trek tour. I'm trying to get pics and a report from evey stop on the tour.
Talking of Trek I've added a whole new page just for Star Trek stuff, hope you find it useful.
Don't forget to sign up as a member and enter our members only contest to win a gorgeous Spock poster, you have until early May.
I'll post again after the Trek premiere!

As the relase of Star Trek XI comes closer and Heroes begins again Zach has been popping up everywhere!
As well as the exciting news that he features on the Forbes' Most Bankable Stars List (designed to show who is going to be making a splash on the entertainment front in the coming year), Zach has gotten pulses racing by appearing in a special promo video for Star Trek during the filming of a new MTV series called 'Spoilers'. The series is about buzz for upcoming movies and Zach appeared during a Watchmen pre-screening to build excitement for this summer's release. The full story is here and we'll bring you the vid as soon as we can get our hands on it.
Speaking of Leonard Nimoy, he famously released an autobiography called "I Am Not Spock" in which he attempts to draw a distinction between the character and his real self. So will Zach one day title his bio "I Am Not Sylar"? One blogger recalls a moment (possibly at last year's San Diego Comic-Con) where Zach seemed uncomfortable with being addressed as Sylar (and indeed, who wouldn't?)
You might have seen the news page and the item on the charity auction to win tickets to the LA Premiere of Star Trek and the aftershow party. Funds raised go to Alzheimer's Research, a cause close to my heart, so if you have the money, please bid on this fantastic prize. Incidentally, all profits from our t-shirt sales go to fund research into Alzheimer's Disease.
If you've been watching Heroes you'll know that Sylar gets a new companion this volume. If you're into fan fiction you might be interested to know that there is already a community on Livejournal dedicated to shipping Sylar and Luke!
Until next time, have fun loving Zach! xxx

So I guess you all saw Zach present at the Golden Globes? There are pics and videos on this site if you miraculously haven't seen it yet. Presenting at the Globes is a big deal, Zachary appeared with Chris Pine, his Star Trek XI co-star, to present the Best Actress (Drama) award to Anna Paquin for True Blood. The assembled photographers must have been keeping them a little too long in the press room because Zach had to yell "Let her go, this lady needs a drink!"
Later that night rumour has it the hunger pangs were biting Zach as he tried to get into the HBO party for some decent food, the spoils at the NBC party being rather disappointing. Try Subway next time Zach, you don't have to be on the list.
In real news, Zach has filmed the first scenes with his new screen Dad John Glover. He had this to say :
"He was the perfect choice. The only downside was that we shot our scenes outside in a tarpaulin shack and it was pouring rain for two days, so we were literally slogging through mud. The logistics weren't that great, but the experience was. It traded off in the end."
And on the chances of Heroes getting a fourth season?
"I don't make those decisions. I'm certainly hopeful. I'd love to be a part of the show for as long as it exists, but I feel like there's so much transition at NBC and in the industry right now that I really don't know. Those decisions are best left to others."
Thanks to the girls over at Livejournal's ZQ Fans Community for finding some pics of Zach filming new rainy Heroes scenes on an LA rooftop. Clicky for soaked Zach!
Until next time, have fun!

Hey Zach fans, hope you had a great holiday. As you might have seen, Zach spent the New Year in France, check out the video.
I've had to start archiving anything more than 3 months old as the world starts to catch Zach fever! With Heroes returning from hiatus soon and Star Trek beginning to be promoted across the world there's going to be an influx of interview and new appearances, so keep checking back to the site. TV Squad go so far as to predict that Zach will get his own show in 2009!
I'll be at Comic-Con again this year. Great, I hear you say, what about us?! Well, last year I picked up a rather lovely Spock movie poster which I'll be giving away in a contest very soon, so who knows what goodies I'll be able to get my hands on in the summer! It's very likely that Zach will attend too, so I'll have my video camera ready.
Blend TV says that Zach was one of the best things on TV this year. We agree, right?
Not long now until Heroes is back on the air, so hang in there! I'll have another contest running in the next couple of weeks so be sure to check back x

Hi everyone,
as you can imagine we get a LOT of information about ZQ here at the site, and not all of it necessitates its own entry in the news section, or even a link on the front page. Some of it is just trivia that is quite interesting but that doesn't really fit anywhere else.
With this in mind I'm starting a blog so that all the tiny bits of news and detritus that finds its way into my inbox can be shared somewhere. And if you're not interested in the minutiae of Zach's life then you can just stick to the main site!
First up, Greg Beeman's blog is up for the episode 'Dual'. This episode was my favourite of the series so far - Zach was outstanding, managing to flip from sad to scary throughout. I loved the physical performance when Eric Doyle manipulated Sylar's body with his puppet ability. Did it remind anyone else of Zach's performance in 'End Game'? Check out the Theatre page and you can see a video - you'll see what I mean.
Anyhow, go and read Greg's blog, he says some lovely things about Zach and it's where we get our behind the scenes pics from which end up in the on set gallery.
I produce a weekly Heroes podcast called 'The List' which is usually pretty Sylar heavy! It lasts 40 minutes and is online as soon as the BBC 2 episode begins. You can hear past episodes too.
I'll leave you with a little photo gift, a Sylar Christmas cartoon by a livejournal user called iluvbsbkevin - there are other Heroes characters at her journal.
